1. About these terms
These placeholder terms govern use of the Pender Education website while the product is in development. They will be replaced with full terms before launch.
2. Demonstration content
The matching experience on this website produces demonstration results for product illustration only. School names are real, but the details shown — including age ranges, boarding provision, curriculum and indicative fee ranges — are illustrative and unverified, and are not supplied or endorsed by those schools.
Fit is described qualitatively (for example "Strong fit"). No numeric match score is produced, because a verified matching model does not exist yet. School information and matching criteria will be verified with schools before launch.
3. How Pender is paid, and why it does not affect recommendations
Pender intends to be paid by schools in one of two ways: a fixed fee for a qualified family introduction (Pender Select), or an agreed percentage of a student's first-year tuition if a Pender-referred student enrols (Pender Growth).
Schools cannot pay to improve their position in a family's recommendations. Recommendations are intended to reflect the family's stated requirements and school suitability only. We will publish how this separation is enforced once the matching architecture is built.
Pender facilitates introductions between families and schools. Families are never required to communicate with a school through Pender, and Pender is not an accredited or registered education agent.
4. No admissions guarantee
Pender does not make admissions decisions on behalf of schools. Every admissions decision, assessment requirement, fee and offer is determined by the school. Pender does not guarantee a place, a scholarship or an outcome.
5. No advice
Information on this website is general in nature and is not immigration, financial, legal or educational advice for an individual student.
6. Intellectual property
The Pender Education name, branding and website content belong to Pender Education unless otherwise stated.
7. Changes
As the product develops these terms will change. The current version will always be published on this page.
