Product concept
Your admissions journey in one place.
Pender is designed to stay useful long after the first shortlist. This page describes the parent dashboard we are building — it is a concept preview, not a live account area.
Dashboard
Nine areas, one journey.
The parent or guardian is the account holder throughout. Children are never asked to create an account, and nothing is shared with a school without explicit permission.
My profile
The student's requirements, held by the parent or guardian and editable at any time.
My school matches
Best-fit schools with the reasoning shown, refreshed as preferences change.
Saved schools
Shortlist schools to revisit and compare side by side before deciding.
Requested introductions
Every introduction you have asked for, with its Pender referral ID and current status.
Application status
Where each application stands: enquiry, response, assessment, offer, acceptance, enrolment.
Documents
A future secure area for documents a school genuinely requires, controlled by the parent.
Messages
Correspondence with schools kept in one thread. You may also contact schools directly.
Deadlines
Registration dates, assessment windows and offer deadlines by school.
Next steps
A clear, prioritised list of what to do next at each stage of the journey.
The journey
Discover, profile, match, compare, introduce, apply.
Step 1
Discover
Understand UK boarding and independent education, and what genuinely differs between schools.
Step 2
Profile
A parent or guardian builds a structured profile of the student's requirements — no child account, no sensitive documents.
Step 3
Match
AI-assisted matching suggests schools that fit the stated requirements, with the reasoning shown in plain language.
Step 4
Compare
Compare shortlisted schools side by side: ages, boarding pattern, curriculum, indicative fees, strengths and considerations.
Step 5
Request introduction
When you choose to, Pender introduces you to the school and shares only what it needs to respond.
Step 6
Application
Track responses, assessments, deadlines and outcomes in one place through to enrolment.
Schools cannot pay to improve their position in your recommendations. Recommendations are based only on the requirements you give us and how well a school suits them.
Pender is paid by schools — either a fixed fee for a qualified introduction, or an agreed percentage of first-year tuition if a student enrols. We keep those arrangements separate from matching by design, and we will publish exactly how that separation is enforced once the matching architecture is built.
Where we are
A concept, honestly labelled.
No dashboard accounts exist yet and no family data is stored. The matching experience on this site is a demonstration using illustrative, unverified school information.
Pender offers AI-assisted school matching. We do not make admissions decisions and cannot guarantee a match, an offer, a school place or a visa outcome.
